RESOLUTIONS: The path to happiness

I will feel happier by accomplishing the following things in my life...

March 14 - March 21

1. dealing with Mom finances
2. paying Dad's debts
3.DECLUTTER/clean a room
4. lose 15 lbs
5. Exercise 3 times a week
6. save Money
7. write letters to Mom twice a month
8. call Mom weekly
9. call/write a friend or family member weekly
10. Start a creative project (in class or by self).
11. Eat more vegetables daily
12. Create a sacred space for meditation
13. Write 5 Gratitudes a day
14. be kind to myself...include a treat daily
15. visiting with Lily weekly
16. Get out of debt
17. Write Thank you note to Cindy
18. Increase meditation to 3 to 7 times weekly
19. Read something uplifting daily
20. Do something towards ^ happiness at work

So depressed today...another day of sleeping too long, missing yoga class. Today, I recommit to happiness and being kind to myself and others.

GROUP RESOLUTION Developing the VIA strength of Gratitude

Upon waking, write down 3 - 5 things that you are grateful for be it a person, an experience, a thought, or a feeling. Before retiring at night, write down (or recount) 3 - 5 things that happened during the day that you are grateful for.

ONE-SENTENCE JOURNAL From: Journaling 2010

Today, 12/27/09, I followed the bells to St. Margaret's Church in Topsham England, had a lovely brunch aftewards at Rout 2 and then went in to Exeter and saw Gandy Street. Gandy is the street that Diagon Alley in Harry Potter was based on!
