INSPIRATION BOARD

We change the world and heal others by who we become – by our presence and by the love and light we radiate.

— ~~ Sandra Ingerman

ONE-SENTENCE JOURNAL From: Mindfulness

The moment I realize I haven't been present, I become present; Then nothing is lost.

HAPPINESS HACKS On: Mindfulness

Observe how the mind always draws attention to past & future. Regret & Worry, reminicing & planning: these are the mental habits that distract us from the NOW. Observing the patterns with loving attention (not judging or analyzing) dissolves them.

HAPPINESS HACKS On: Attitude

Learn from your mistakes without dwelling on them. You can learn NOW while staying present. Regrets and self-doubt just drag you down, back into the past where the egoic mind feeds on itself, like a snake eating its own tail.

HAPPINESS HACKS On: Mindfulness

Mindfulness: It's not what you think.

INSPIRATION BOARD

Observe how the mind creates unhappiness. By watching the mechanics of the mind, you step out of the resistance patterns, and then allow the present moment to be. Accept -- then act. Whatever the present contains, accept it as if you had chosen it.

— Eckhart Tolle

"Be like the earth. When the rain comes, the earth simply opens up to the rain and soaks it all in."

— Thich Nhat Hahn, from his latest book, Savor

PERSONAL COMMANDMENTS

  • Say Grace to eat mindfully: Thank you, Mother Earth & Father Sky for the gift of this food. I appreciate that this food comes from numerous living beings and loving hands.  May I eat with mindfulness and gratitude so as to be worthy to receive this gift.

HAPPINESS HACKS On: Attitude

To be positive is not to repress the negative. What we resist, persists. When fear (or anger or loss) comes knocking, don't bar the door. Invite them in. Tell them "Hello, old friend. Come sit by the fire." Focus on them intently & watch them change!

ONE-SENTENCE JOURNAL From: Metta

Be Tara's Flute! May I be as a hallow bone for Spirit. May I resonate with compassion. May Tara's song flow through me, as a flute carrying her notes to the People. In humble service, I open to the Heart Chant, who sings through me!

If everyone channeled the energy that is created from our complaining about what is not working to positive thoughts and intentions, we'd see a great deal of positive change on the planet.

We have to develop new ways of thinking...in alignment with our vision.... It's a matter of changing the way we think throughout the day. We must make this work a way of life....We need to dig deep and uproot the blocking beliefs...with creativity.

INSPIRATION BOARD

All genuine healing & transformative action arises out of an inner space of acceptance. Can I in this moment be with what's really happening? To have the honesty & courage to face my fear or loss, that quality of presence gives rise to wise action.
