ONE-SENTENCE JOURNAL From: Life - making the best of it when things aren't what you wanted

My friend B has a sculpture in a big exhibition/competition. Have tried to get as many votes as I can for her - will find out later how she got on. I know some very interesting people!

Have new "leads" to go on healthwise - must ring docs tomorrow and try to get some action on them. It's ridiculous that I have to diagnose myself!! Seems I'm always the best person for all my jobs!

Feeling worse again at the moment. Was fed up yesterday, looked up and saw a beautiful rainbow outside the window oooh!

K here on Sunday, M here on Monday. Nice to see people but still overdid things. R made me happy with emails last week. L&K always make me smile. Lots to be grateful about despite all health problems I live like a queen compared to many.

Have managed 19 days on my own without asking for any help - progress! But overdid it yesterday and now am so dizzy and wobbly - have not stuck to my resolution - naughty girl!!

Feeling rough today and wishing things were different, but grateful as have had three emails today from R, K and A - it's good to connect and glad I can now do even the few things I've managed this morning. Up and dressed too - hurray!

Got a lovely card from friend Joy today just to say I was a good friend - it made me smile and feel as if I still have some value in the world. Have started at the top of pile one and going to work through my CDs listening to them all

Just watched the programme about Katie Piper and her latest operation, hopefully to restore her eyesight. A beautiful girl, brave and inspiring in the way she copes with her problems. I wish her the very best future.

I wished for two things today and they both came true - big bro M here again - more laughing and chatting and gave my butternut squash a face - how can I cut it up now??? Do not humanise your food or you will starve!!
