Chevy's friends are such incredible young women . . . having them for a halloween sleepover was so much fun.

This morning the sunrise was completely astonding . . . I am grateful I live on the Prairies where Mother Nature puts on a show of colour and light twice daily!

Things I am grateful for this morning: sleeping through the night; re-reading the book the Shack;

Baked cinnamon buns yesterday - - something I love and am grateful that I am able to do; Michael J. Fox - a wonderful Cdn treasure. . .

Today I am thankful for: the warm sunny fall we are having; chai tea; cuddly doggies in the mornings

Today I am thankful for the following: a good nights' sleep how Scully snuggles up against me in bed Frosted Flakes - yum

Time to quiet my mind and let the Divine tell me what I am supposed to be learning here. . .

I trust the Universe will open the door for me to walk through. . .

May 5 - - still snowing. . . . wondering if the polarity of the Earth has flipped and no one told me. . . .

Ah the joy of an almost teen - - - a sore throat, no jeans that fit --> she needs size 'cranky'.

Interview at YWCA -- have no idea how it went. . .

Planted sweetpeas - - sanding chairs -- recreating my own new world.

Spring snow storm equals the snow disappearing and revealing green grass!!!

Pre-teen girls, sleep over, giggles, scary movies. . . . yeah, life is good.

Easter is truly a time of rebirth for me this year - - time to find the next step on my journey to living and teaching only love.

I am so thankful for the messages and words of thanks I have been blessed with by my clients and the other professionals who benefit from my job. . . and I can forgive the 'management' for not valuing what I do as much as those stakeholders do.

It is easy to be happy and at peace when things are going your way. . . the secret is to not have your happiness not be dependent on anything but your relationship with yourself and with God.

Well, there's another corkscrew curve in my life...hang on the ride gets interesting once again.

Seven 7th grade girls at a sleep over. . . what giggles and glee. They are an amazing mix of child/woman! Incredible.

And the snake came back, he couldn't stay away, he was curled up hibernating till I found him on Sunday! Back to 2 of everything -- cats, dogs, humans, snakes!

It is time to remember that so many things in life are like butterflies -- chase them and they run away; sit quietly and they will perch upon your shoulder. . .

Must find time to write everyday - -

Time to tend my own garden -- the place where happiness is best grown. . .

Michael J. Fox describes parenting as like putting a quarter in a jukebox and nudging it but letting your child figure out what music she will play. Yes, that is it. Most definitely.

Kidlet has a slight cold -- and it's opening night. So I parked her in bed to rest for her play tonight. Crossing all my digits she is good to go and has a great night. . .

Snow today - - cold but at least sunny. Yet another day I wonder why on earth I live in this part of the world during the winter.

A day where I continue to remind myself that 'bad' and 'out of sorts' days are only temporary glitches in my life. Breath in, Breath Out, Move On -- Jimmy Buffett is RIGHT.

New family addition -- a cute little corn/king snake cross. Gee -- that's one phobia that I've managed to completely erase...she's so CUTE.

Beautiful, sunny day -- walked at lunch. Can't seem to stop YAWNING...oh well, probably just a case of persistent 'winter'...this too shall pass.

Never settle for an 'almost okay' relationship -- and if you do please do NOT have a child. Things rarely get better -- but they can get worse so try to start from a place of EXCELLENT. (thoughts at work)

So, Max is at the vet getting neutered. . . he'll be so much happier and hopefully will stop marking everything in the house. Kid has said if he marks anything else of hers, she is going to 'mark' his bed. . . LOL!

Remember all things happen for a reason. Nothing is random and remaining open to what our life is teaching us is how we become WHO we really are. I am committed to staying awake and being present for it all.

One of those days when I must remind myself that working for the People means dealing with politically motivated demigods who aspire to godness. Bless them, love them, forgive them. . . ah, that is better....

Ah yes, forgive those who judge and pray for their happiness. They probably won't change, but YOU will feel better and more at peace.
