HAPPINESS HACKS On: Habits - making & breaking

Don't come home and turn on the TV just out of habit. Turn on some music instead. You can listen to music and get A, B, & C accomplished but you can't get anything done sitting on the couch in front of the TV. Thats why God invented TiVo.

  • Be my most authentic self
  • Time only makes unpleasant things more unpleasant
  • Don't apologize for what makes me happy
  • Make an effort
  • Think big picture
  • Own up to mistakes. Masking them is always worse in the long run.
  • Act like I want to feel
  • Be as equally selfish as I am unselfish
  • Think before I speak - Am I contributing for greater good or is it ego?
  • Do the hard thing if its the right thing for me
  • Take a breath
  • Give of myself what I'd like to receive

  • Spend a day at all of the major LA Area beaches

OK, I'm going to the gym today. I swear. Just 30mins of cardio to start me off since I haven't been in FOREVER. Hope I don't pass out. Apparently it takes 21 times of doing something to create a habit. Day 1.
