Bio

I love to read...my creativity comes in spurts and my teaching uses a lot of it. I used to quilt and enjoyed that tremendously. I like to do art projects, would love to write a book but enjoy reading more than writing so I doubt that will happen...I enjoy theater, foreign films, contra dancing. I hate paperwork ...I enjoy intelligent and silly conversations, the smell of home baked goodies, ginger in tea, and candy and on my pumpkin pie. I love soft, tactile things, like petting a cat and cozy sweaters. I'm new still but look forward to investigating and furthering the project. Interests: love theater, ballet, classical music, acoustic guitar and folk music, the study of happiness, contra dancing. Philosophy: Be kind and try to be kind even when cranky! I write letters to Gov't officials and feel it is important to vote and keep abreast on what is up with the Gov't...even though I'd rather be doing other things most of the time. My heros include President Obama, Michael Moore, Gandhi, Buddha, John and Abigail Adams, Thomas JEfferson and others who have left this world a better place, especially Ben Franklin who seemed to do that while enjoying himself tremendously!
